I’m really excited about this product! This is the New AcuRite Digital Cooking & Barbeque Thermometer with Wireless Remote Pager.
This is not just a regular food thermometer. This thermometer takes all of the guesswork out of cooking!
The New AcuRite Digital Cooking & Barbeque Thermometer features a leave-in probe that monitors food temperature during cooking, predicts when food will be ready, and alerts with a wireless pager when dinner is done!

Easy-set rotary dial lets you select one of the USDA recommended temperature presets or set your own temperature or time. When the target food temperature or time is reached the wireless pager alerts with sound, light and vibration. The thermometer also features a countdown / count up kitchen timer. I couldn’t wait to try this product out! I decided to try it on a bottom round roast I had purchased. All I did was put the probe into the meat:
I set the type of meat to BEEF, set the degree of doneness to MEDIUM WELL and put the meat in the oven. As you can see, the beginning temperature of the meat is 39 degrees F. Then I turned the included pager on and set it to vibrate.
As the meat cooked, I could see the temperature rising and the cooking time counting down.
When there was 5 minutes left, an alarm went off on the pager. When there was 1 minute left, the alarm beeped on the thermometer.
When the meat was done, my pager started vibrating and the red and green lights starting flashing. The alarm also went off on the thermometer.
I took the meat out of the oven. It came out perfectly! I didn’t have to take it out of the oven to check it. Not once!
I was very impressed with this thermometer and will definitely be using it again!
I couldn’t help thinking that this would be a great gift for any guy who loves to barbeque!
